Going along the Via Mercatorum, in the variant that from Dossena reaches Cornello dei Tasso through San Giovanni Bianco, we pass through Oneta.
Traditionally considered the home of one of the most famous masks of the “Commedia dell’Arte” (Art Comedy), the small and charming village hosts the “Taverna di Arlecchino” (Harlequin’s Tavern).
The tavern is located in the premises of what was once the stable of “Palazzo Grataroli” (Grataroli Palace), the home of Harlequin, which now houses the museum.
In an intimate environment it is possible to taste a cuisine that combines ancient recipes of the local tradition with new combinations of flavours thanks to high quality raw materials, all accompanied by a careful selection of local wines.
