La Via Mercatorum is a non-profit association …which aims to enhance the territory crossed by the historic road. It was born on 3/4/2019 in the wake of the editorial success of the Guide to the Via Mercatorum – Silvia Bonomi – ed. Graphics and Art – 2018 which has awakened interest in Via Mercatorum and its historical, cultural, artistic and environmental heritage. Main objectives of the association: • Inform tourists, hikers, or anyone in general who request it, about itineraries, places of interest, accommodation facilities and events organized in the Via Mercatorum area; • Organize group excursions on the historic route; • Create a space for consulting publications, written or audiovisual works, maps, photographs relating to Via Mercatorum, its historic buildings, works of art, the history of personalities who were born or passed through here, the landscape and environmental heritage; • Work in collaboration with local authorities, cultural institutions and other associations in order to promote cultural initiatives aimed at exploiting the above purposes.
